Who We Are
This website is run by The Surface Artists, by CG Cambridge Ltd, trading as Surface Artists. CG Cambridge Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15577570, registered office 17a High Street, Histon, CB24 9JD. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this site.
What We Collect
When you send a quote request we collect your name, phone number, email address, the type of repair you need, your town or postcode if you give it, and the details you write about the damage. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we keep a record of that conversation and any photos you send. When you visit the site we also collect technical information through cookies, such as the pages you visit and how you arrived, as described below.
How We Use It
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out work, and keep records of the work we've done. We use website analytics and advertising data to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising.
Our Lawful Basis
We process enquiry details because you've asked us to provide a quote, which is a step before entering into a contract with you, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business. We only use non-essential cookies with your consent.
Who We Share It With
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, under appropriate data protection terms: Lovable Cloud (website hosting and database), our email service provider (sending enquiry notifications), Google Analytics and Google Ads. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.

We use essential cookies to make the site work. With your consent we also use analytics and advertising cookies from Google. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry details for 24 months if you don't go ahead with work. If you become a customer, we keep records for 6 years for accounting and legal reasons.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. To make a request, email info@surfaceartists.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
