About Surface Artists
Specialist surface repair and restoration for homes, businesses and construction sites across Cambridgeshire.
Damaged Doesn't Have To Mean Replaced
Surface Artists started from a simple idea. When a worktop chips, a bath cracks or a stone cill crumbles, the usual answer is to rip it out and fit a new one. Most of the time, it can be repaired instead.
We combine specialist restoration techniques with an artist's eye for colour, texture and detail. That's what lets a repair blend into the original surface rather than sit on top of it.
Today we work for homeowners, commercial clients and construction companies, on everything from marble and quartz to uPVC frames and brickwork. Our aim is to make repair the first choice over replacement: it costs less, causes less disruption and keeps usable materials out of landfill.

How A Repair Disappears
Every repair starts with matching. We study the colour, pattern and sheen of the original surface, then mix and build up the repair by hand until it sits in with what's around it.
Once the damage is filled and shaped, we refinish the area to the same level of polish or texture as the rest of the surface, so it reads as one piece.
The People Behind The Work
Our team brings together specialist stone restoration, construction experience and skilled craftsmanship.
